French fun

I repeat the words each time hoping to get the pronunciation right. Taking a conversational French class once a week & this is helping me for sure

Better than Rosetta Stone

Im amazed that this app is free because it looks very professional and well done. I hope they will add more units in the near future.

Great voices, Great lessons

Very well built app, particularly for being a free app. I love the variety of activities and styles. Something I can let me kids play with and hear words as well as something I can really actually use to learn too.

Clear voices and great visuals

This Rosetta Stone-like app is great because it is fun to use and has great pictures. There are lots of lessons to take and the amount of words and phrases are pretty extensive. The app is also easy to use. Definitely give this app a try if you are considering learning French.

Awesome Free Language App!

This is a pretty cool app that has helped me learn French for my vacation to France. Opening this app the first time, it is obvious that the developer put a lot of hard work into making this app. The interface is easy to use and very nice. The way this app teaches you is similar to Rosetta Stone, it intuitively quizzes you and allows you to connect words, spoken by native French speakers, to pictures and visuals. This approach allowed me to learn French quickly and easily. Surprisingly, I also had a lot of fun using this app. There are a lot of words to learn and the pictures are just stunning. This developer really did a nice job with this application.

Practical and fun learning app

Easy to use, its like playing a game. The app keeps your score, so it motivates you to do better each time you complete a lesson. Forget Rosetta Stone, this is free and perfect for on-the-go people. The photos and pictures are great and help reinforce the phrases/words (there are a ton of commonly used phrases & words to learn). The native voices are clear and sound natural too, Ive used other learning software were the voices sounded like robots. Would definitely recommend this app!

An amazingly fun game that teaches you something!

French Is a hard language to learn trust me, I have been taking French at school for 1 year now. This app is an excellent way to help you along in your studies of French language. The pictures that 321speak has put in this app are amazing and clear and to go with that they have crisp, clear, and realistic voices, to help you learn and remember each and every word. I really like this app and would definitely recommend this app to everyone that is learning French.

Super for class

Weve been using this app in the classroom for our 9th graders (since the beta) who are taking their first French class. The students really seem to like it and it provides additional support especially for this generation that is less apt to be interested in traditional textbook lessons or audio tapes. All our students have iPads in the classroom so this app provides a great alternate activity when my students are tired of hearing me speak French with a NJ accent and want to listen to someone native; multiple speakers are a good idea. We considered using rosetta stone, however this app proved to be about equivalant and a lot more affordable.

Great for visual leathers

Similar to Rosetta stone. Visual and phrase oriented learning . Provides a lot of repetition to make the language stick. Easy to use on the iPhone and on the go.

Great app

This app makes learning French easy. It is a must have for serious learners.

Great app!

This app is great for beginners or just to review. The pictures are awesome and the audio is easy to understand! I always use this for practice or to learn something new. Definitely the best French app out there!

The best language apps!

English is my first official language, Spanish is my family language so second nature as well. I spent twelve years studying French in school and was fluent to college level. At age twelve I taught myself Japanese. At 16 I taught myself Italian. At 25 started studying Mandarin. Im only 38 right now neurological illness has robbed me of my ability to keep my languages sorted in my head. They just all run together like water, Im trying to relearn and these apps have been the vest so far. I bought Chinese Spanish French Italian and Japanese. I was so proud of myself for scoring 100 on the first test of each language. These are the best trust me Ive studied languages my entire life. You will not be disappointed. I hope they add Russian because its one language I have wanted since 5th grade, nerd alert!!! 

Higher learning

Excellent app!!! Specially for those who are visual learners!!!!

Super app

I love these app is one of the best I really love it and highly recommended

Great app

This a great app! Clear sounding every day words. Thanks!

Not what I was looking for

... But OK. I wanted something a little more comprehensive.

Great as a supplement

I use this app in conjunction with the MindSnacks French, Babbel, Busuu, and 24/7 French apps and altogether they make a pretty comprehensive French course. I really enjoy the way this app works and the option to turn off the written words or vocals to help me hone in on whatever aspect of the language I am studying.

Just What I Like

This is great for learning basics in French and getting lots of reinforcement in a pleasant way, with photos, written format and spoken word. Similar to Rosetta Stone, but without the huge cost. Actually better, because it is easier to access the meaning of the words if not readily evident from the pictures. Also easier to turn features on and off, and since it is an app, loads quicker and is easier to use. Also got the Spanish app. Ready to buy more lessons if more become available.

Get it!

This is a great app. If you dont know any French, this will make you familiar and introduce you to the language. You can hear the pronunciation over and over until you get it. It can be repetitive, but is good because it makes you learn it. I have no complains

No good

I have an iPad iOS 6 and there is no sound, just pictures. You are supposed to hear the speakers. Waste of money.
